Jayse came over to show us his speedy car and what he won. Way to go, Jayse!!!! We're proud of you! (I wasn't able to capture his usual charming smile, and those valentine boxes look like Mickey Mouse ears.)

Congrats to Jayse. I went to Holden and Nicholas' Pinewood Derby on Thursday. Every car had to be matched against every car, making something like 378 races and a long night. The results out of about 25 boys were: Nicholas won 2nd place and Holden 3rd. I thought that was great since we couldn't ever produce a winner with our boys cars. Nicholas really isn't 8 until Feb. 9th, so technically he wasn't qualified to race, but no one complained about it.
