The corn is as high as an elephant's eye...

...well, not quite yet. Our garden is growing by leaps and bounds. Our radishes are long gone. The peas are winding down. Jill and her girls came picked a whole bunch of peas for their family. I finally had to blanch and make little bags and freeze them for later. We have started eating the yellow zucchini. Don't laugh, but we have thirteen (13) zucchini plants! We bought the smallest amount of seeds possible. Usually some of them don't germinate. We figured some would die when they were transplanted. Oftentimes a squash bug kills of a plant or two. Anyway, they all lived. I am going to have to give a lot of them away. Any takers? Reed has had beet greens. We made pickled beets today from our first picking. The beans are blossoming. We had some fresh picked peas and tiny little carrots from our garden in a cream sauce. Very tasty!
