Martin Harris Farm, Alvin Smith's Grave

The home is occupied by some of the facilities management missionaries. We see the FM missionaries all the time, mainly at the Welcome Center at the Smith Farm. They are mostly indoor custodians. The woman in the blue shirt is an FM missionary from Sugar City, Idaho. She and her husband are very pleasant to work with. The Church hires 'True Green' to plant, weed, and care for the flower beds and maintain the yards at the historical sites in this area...must keep them in business.

The wording is the same on each side.

This is called the 'Alvin tree.' It is on the Smith Farm in the back sideyard of the frame home. When someone passed away, a tree was planted in his or her honor. It is believed that this tree was planted after Alvin died.
